With the release of, Summer Festival '74/'75 we have finally on DVD(R) the best images available of Elvis' Summer Festivals from 1974/1975! Good to stunning quality 8mm movies of The King in action. A variety of shows, spectacular outfits, karate demonstrations and nice overviews of the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel makes you feel you are right there in the audience. With sound from audience or soundboard recordings where available. Elvis was in good shape during the shows as presented here. This DVD also gives us more a glimpse of the shows held in August 1975 and in very good quality considering the source. Elvis cancelled the remainder of that season shortly after. But here you get to see and hear him in action, featuring the very rare black & white 'Pengiun' suit. As a bonus there are several on tour shows featured also, among them great images from Huntsville 1975.

Never before have we seen an Elvis Presley concert from the 1950's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. + Plus Bonus DVD Audio.

This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
