Bossa Nova Baby : 1987 extended disco remix

In 1987 an extended disco remix of 'Bossa Nova Baby' brought the song back into public consciousness, at least in Europe. A monster hit on the dance floors through Europe it had a playing time of 5' 10".

Now re-released and remastered.

Ain't That Loving You Baby

In 1984 a new digital master ('Fast Version') of Ain't That Loving You Baby was made by RCA. They used 17 splices to create this track and issued with a new matrix number (PPA5 2672), that was used on the album 'Reconsider Baby'. The result was amazing, and fans were stunned!

When Sony recently remastered the entire Elvis catalogue (Vic Anesini) they retransferred everything and remastered all tracks including repairing as many clicks, pops, bad edits and dropouts as they could, EXCEPT for this track - the work seemed too much - so INSTEAD they included 'take 11' of the song, where of course the sensational 'fast version' should have been used!

BUT now we can present the 'remastered' version for the first time!!

A LOT of hard work went into this project, and now the sound is so much better then on the 'Reconsider Baby' album, and the splices have all been done in the same way!

Elvis Presley Video Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD

Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD + 16 page booklet.

Never before have we seen an Elvis Presley concert from the 1950's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever.

This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
